Often when I arrive at the MCI I am very sick, usually
in a crisis. I have chronic bronchiectasis and asthma. But
I am always comforted by the fact that I know I will be greeted
by staff who know me by name and who are always there to meet
my needs, often beyond what is required. The care I receive
there is exceptional—I always feel surrounded by family.
And it doesn’t matter who the staff is, they all have
that caring attitude. I don’t know what I would do without
them.
